2016Year in Review
2016 may get a bad rap but there were plenty of great moments too! There were many interesting projects, great experiences, and games played (i.e. we love Catan).
Before we turn our sights on the new year, we thought we'd take a look back at last year. We'll break it down by firsts, figures, and fun!
We're all about new challenges! Here is just a taste of some of the firsts for our projects in 2016:
- Learning management system
- Membership portal (lots of variations)
- Real estate IDX integration for the Multiple Listing Service
- An international project (United Kingdom)
- WordPress multisite network
Working with students
We had the privilege of working with 3 students from the high school Capstone program.
A brand new support system
We are continually looking to improve. Our support has gone through a couple of revamps and continues to get better. The latest version is dead simple for our clients. All they need to do is send an email. On our end, we can easily manage tickets and assign them to the proper team member.
We've only logged 19 tickets in the system so far but it's only been up and running for a short time! Try it out and just say hello to [email protected]
Sharing with others!
I truly enjoy speaking. I had the pleasure of speaking at the following conferences/events this year:
- Cold Climate Conference
- WordCamp Minneapolis
- AEDC's Starting a Small Business series
- BarCamp Omaha
- WordCamp Seattle
- AAHS Hour of Code
Looking forward to 2017
A lot is going to change in 2017! We're adding a new team member for starters: Brad. He'll be helping us manage projects and onboard new clients.
Ben and Parker are going to continue their internship with us into the next semester. The spring mentorship program will allow them to work on even bigger projects!
Lastly, but not least, we are going to be adding another little sprout to the family. Rachel and I are expecting a baby girl in February!
