The store owner approached CYBERsprout for solutions to extend their online WordPress store powered by WooCommerce. They leaned on CYBERsprout for our expertise and recommendations to build out the online storefront’s capabilities.
They had some big dreams about how to create unique packages and offerings that would help them meet customer needs in creative ways. This included monthly & quarterly subscription services with recurring payments, product pairing and upsell solutions, build your own packages, and more.
They needed a solution that not only made their operations management easy but was also extremely easy for their online customers to use and complete orders.

The CYBERsprout team helped develop a number of solutions to help extend this website and bring the store owners visions to life.
Conversion Optimizations
We started optimizing MN Olive Oil Company’s website by configuring unique coupon and discount codes along with discount rules that could be used in online and print marketing to drive interest, engagement, and online sales. We also set-up cart abandonment solutions to automatically reach back out to customers who had started the purchase process but dropped off along the way. Strategically planned follow up emails help to recapture nearly $6,000 in abandoned orders in the first year.
The company also traditionally runs a Vinegar + Oil pairing of the month special that they wanted to be sure visitors were aware of. We helped implement strategic nudges throughout the design bringing attention to the current offering and keeping these top of mind.
During the pandemic quarantine of 2020, the owners needed to explore the option of providing both an order delivery service as well as allowing customers to select a scheduled order pick-up time. Our team was able to enhance the normal store delivery options to include both of these services. Not only were these easy for the shopper to use at checkout, they also made the backend operations management of the store streamlined and efficient.
Shopping Convenience
As the company continued to grow, the team learned from its customers of interest and started offering bundled products that would give them a customizable approach to sampling many of the great products the store offered. We worked with them to integrate a software solution that allows customers to select from pre-defined options to craft their own custom bundle. These bundles have been and continue to be a top performer in the stores sales. This software also allows us to make product recommendations and upsells during the check out process to that visitors are aware of complimentary products that they may be interested in adding to their cart.
Customers were also interested in joining monthly or quarterly subscription clubs where for a low recurring membership, the products they love would be delivered directly to them. This recurring offering provides the store with a nice stream of forecasted orders and revenue.
With their new products in hand, the next thing we wanted to provide customers with were unique and interesting recipes that featured their finds. Each recipe links directly to matching products allowing the recipe to make store recommendations to recommended products and also the product page to feature a listing of recipes that use the product. The store managers enter the information once and the website takes care of the rest.
