Overview
The Vikingland Community Support Program provides vital community based mental health and support services to adults 18 and older in the Alexandria area. Their new website was designed to feel light and warm, leaning into the golden color of their logo. Photos of the staff at events and some carefully curated stock photography was featured to build on the organization’s efforts to foster community connections. The site was built to be super simple to keep up to date— creating areas the activity calendar and newsletter could be added and replaced each month and we built a customized feed of their weekly Facebook Live videos. The online intake schedule process was also streamlined to free up staff time and improve overall usability.
